The first thing to do is find out the IP address of the wifi router. The default IP address for most routers is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. can check the back of the WiFi router to find out its IP address.

After knowing the IP address, follow these steps to change the WiFi password.

Open a browser on your laptop or cellphone and enter the IP address in the address bar. Press Enter
Log in using your username and password. The default username and password are usually "admin" or "userAdmin", or are listed on the wifi router. can also contact the internet provider or router manufacturer to find out the username and password
Look for the Wireless, Wireless Security, WLAN, or Wi-Fi Settings menu. The name of this menu can vary
In the box marked Wi-Fi Password or Key, enter the desired new password
Press Save or Apply.
