After knowing the IP address, follow these steps to change the WiFi password.

  • Open a browser on your laptop or cellphone and enter the IP address in the address bar. Press Enter

  • Log in using your username and password. The default username and password are usually "admin" or "userAdmin", or are listed on the wifi router. can also contact the internet provider or router manufacturer to find out the username and password

  • Look for the Wireless, Wireless Security, WLAN, or Wi-Fi Settings menu. The name of this menu can vary

  • In the box marked Wi-Fi Password or Key, enter the desired new password
